The Energy Commission as part of its commitment to ensuring the safety of life and property in the use of electricity has been taking steps to create awareness among the public on safe electrical wiring practices. A Sensitization Team drawn from the Public Affairs and Electrical Wiring Unit is this week engaging electricity consumers within the Atebubu, Yeji and Salaga Districts on the importance of adhering to safe electrical wiring guidelines.

During these training sessions, Participants will be educated on the need to engage Certified Electrical Wiring Professionals (CEWPs) to undertake the wiring of their facilities and to correctly install and maintain electrical systems in their homes, ultimately ensuring the safety of their families and properties.

The Commission repeats its call to potential and practicing electricians who have not been certified by the Commission to register for and participate in the upcoming. November/December CEWP Examinations scheduled for 2nd and 3rd December, 2023.
