As part of the Energy Commission’s mandate to recommend national policies for the development and utilisation of indigenous energy resources, the Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy is promoting electric vehicles on our roads to create demand and drive the productive utilisation of excess electricity in the system. To successfully ensure e-mobility in Africa and around the world, partnerships will need to emerge among countries and institutions in line with the SDGs to make the world a better place.
